2006 Global Demilitarization Symposium and Exhibition EVENT: #6580, May 1-5, 2006, Indianapolis, IN. The Joint Ordnance Commanders Group (JOCG) and the National Defense Industrial Association announces the 14th annual Global Demilitarization Symposium and Exhibition. This Symposium continues to support the Department of Defense in numerous efforts directe d at reducing the stockpile of excess and obsolete strategic, tactical and conventional munitions. This year's agenda will focus on the global challenges and successes experienced in the disposition of energetic materials. Topics include; ongoing disposal , recycling and reuse programs, research and development efforts, transitioning technologies, and the latest policy issues affecting this business.
