Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with SUNAIR ELECTRONICS,Inc., located at 3005 SW 3RD AVE, FT LAUDERDALE, FL 33315 to procure four (4) Sunair RT-9000A HF/SSB Transceivers. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 256(c) and 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source SUNAIR ELECTRONICS can supply the required equipment and is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required Transceivers. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information within 7 days after synopsis is published and will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 .
