The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), Pensacola, FL, has identified a need for an Internet supported program that contains the following databases: 2-year and 4-year college information, professional and graduate school information, vocational/technical schools, and schools offering external degrees. It will include information on Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges, Armed Services and Civilian occupational information. It must also include provisions for on-line administration of an interest inventory and the input of data from interest inventories, self rating of abilities, work experience and job values taken off-line, life career transitions, employment training, storage of individual user information, financial aid information, and resume preparation. The program must have an immediate exit from each screen, help key function, find key and on-screen operating instructions. It must also provide storage of individual user information, hard copy of module summaries, total system-use summaries, and on-line evaluation of the system. The program must be designed for use on an IBM-compatible computer using Windows 3.1 and higher. The SW must be menu-driven and legible on both monochrome or color microchip monitors. It will be used worldwide so must be capable of operating on the following electrical requirements: 100-120v/50 & 60CPS and 220-240v/50CPS. The software must also be accessible on CD-ROM. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for one base period consisting of 12-months is contemplated. The period of performance will extend from 24 January 2007 through 23 January 2008. Four possible 12-month option periods will also be included (60 months in total).
