Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) requires systems engineering, integration, testing, training, prototype development/installation, experimentation, data collection, and analysis and security certification for support of the Command and Control Information Management project. The proposed contract action is for 1 base year (12 months) and 2 one-year options. The intended contract number is N66001-06-D-0094. The total estimated amount of this action is NTE $3 Million, including Options. The Government intends to award a sole-source cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) contract to AUSGAR Technologies for this effort. This support is urgently needed to continue the certification of the Command and Control Information Management (CCIM) project, and to getting Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) Cross Domain Solution (CDS) approved for a wired and wireless environment. This is a one-time procurement, with no anticipated follow-on effort required. AUSGAR, a Small Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is uniquely qualified to perform this effort. AUSGAR is uniquely qualified in the integration, test of the CCIM project, and has supported the initial development of documents necessary for the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and DISN Security Accreditation Working Group (DSA WG) SABI CDS approval process. AUSGAR has the necessary expertise to support the necessary efforts of this requested action that includes NSA Information System Security Engineering Professional (NSA ISSEP), NSA Information Security Professional, Microsoft Certified Personnel, CISCO Certified Professional and Certified Information System Security Professionals (CISSP)-certified engineers. AUSGAR has put together a prototype that consists of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Hardware and Software they have exclusive distribution rights. AUSGAR has developed the prototype, configured the software components that would allow others to utilize the prototype without dealing with the proprietary software interfaces that they have developed with their manufacture partners so others could install and run C2 applications over this secured wired or wireless communication capability. AUSGAR being the developer possesses the unique component-integration knowledge required to quickly finalize the prototype, allow for SSC SD to integrate other applications to utilize this prototype to evaluate the ability of using a secured wireless communication capability and obtain warfighter feedback and continue to support the necessary security certification process. AUSGAR???s knowledge of how the prototype system was assembled will also assist in SSC-SD documenting the final prototype capability with SSC-SD developed applications running over this integrated system. Questions concerning this effort should be addressed to jesse.a.martinez@navy.mil (619)553-5717.
