- The purpose of this contract is to provide MedPAC with a fast, flexible mechanism for undertaking projects on a potentially wide range of topics relating to Medicare, as follows: convening panels of experts; conducting structured interviews; organizing and conducting site visits; preparing literature reviews and research papers; completing surveys; completing focused analytic projects; and completing policy analyses. RFP 03-06-1MedPAC is geared towards those seeking to complete one, two, or three types of projects listed. We envision making awards to multiple individuals and entities, subject to the proposals received and our anticipated needs. All projects will be reimbursed on a cost plus fixed fee basis, to be defined at the initiation of each individual project. RFP 03-06-1MedPAC will be available on or about April 17, 2006. The RFP may be downloaded from MedPAC?s website www.medpac.gov. No written request will be accepted.
