Description: The project consists of the removal of two existing corrugated pipes and replacing each of them with a corrugated steel pipe arch (2 arches). Work includes pipe removal and disposal, pipe arch installation with streambed simulation material inside the pipes, riprap placement, borrow placement for reconstruction of the roadway, government furnished aggregate placement, equipment rental, and all other work needed to complete the project as required by the contract, plans, and specifications. There is no date restriction for fisheries concerns for this contract. The two project sites are located approx. 500 ft apart. The project is located approx. 24 miles NE of Weippe, ID on Forest Service Rd 535 (NE 1/4 Sec. 24, T36N, R6E, B.M.) Access from Weippe is via County and FS Roads 100 and FS Road 535. Proj. est. cost $25,000 - $100,000. Est. start work 7/10/06.
