- Description
- This solicitation is consists of Tree Marking, Tree Remarking and Tree Tallying services used to support the Black Hills National Forest timber program. The project is identified as a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. It is expected that more than one contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The successful contractor(s) will be chosen through a best value process stated in the solicitation. Task Orders issued against the resulting contracts will be competitive between all successful contractors. Depending on the results of that task order competition, the estimated quantity may result in award to several contractors or the bulk of the work may flow just to one contractor. The minimum guaranteed amount is $5,000 per contractor for the base year only. The performance period is expected to be from May 1, 2006 or date of contract award through April 30, 2007, or one year from date of award with 4 consecutive option years. The NAICS code is 115310. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to this website exclusively. The solicitation will be approximately issued by February 21, 2006. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for March 13, 2006. Quotes are expected to be due by March 31, 2006. Numbered Note 1 applies. Request for Quote procedures will be utilized for awards.
