- The project site is located in Jackson County, Oregon, on the Prospect Ranger District of the Rogue River?Siskiyou National Forest. This project is for the removal of existing asphaltic concrete pavement, timber paving dams, and paving membrane from treated timber deck, removal of all soiled absorptive pads, cleaning of bituminous material from deck, timber girders, concrete piers and lava rock beneath bridge; installation of new timber run plank wearing surface over entire deck, construction of hot bituminous plant mix approach tapers, and related construction work at Rogue River Bridge 6210000-1.0. No materials, cleaning solvents or cleaning residue are allowed to fall into the Rogue River during the course of this contract. This is a Request for Quotations. In addition to price, offerors are required to complete a project specific questionnaire. Detailed technical proposals are not required. Award may be made without discussions. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 26, 2006. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
