- Heavy Construction: Holly Hill Watershed Project, Phase II -- The County of Orangeburg, South Carolina is seeking sources interested in a proposed solicitation and contract for the construction and enlargement of approximately 5.5 miles of open flood prevention channels in the vicinity of the Town of Holly Hill, South Carolina. The project will include clearing, channel excavation, seeding, and upgrading of road culvert systems. The proposed contract will be administered by Orangeburg County pursuant to a federal assistance agreement with USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service. A solicitation is expected to be issued around April 12, 2006. Interested parties are advised to contact the Orangeburg County Purchasing Department and request to be placed on the contractors? mailing and planholders? list for this project.
