Description

PROJECT NAME: Zeloski Marsh Wetland Restoration ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. LOCATION: Jefferson County, Wisconsin (T 7N, R 13E , Sections 17, 20, 21, 28, 29) SUMMARY: Construct three ditch fills, place fill to construct berms adjacent to existing ditches, install inline water level control structures, search for and disable drainage tile, construct islands and wildlife scrapes, remove steel junction boxes, steel sumps, and concrete pump pads as shown on the plans and specifications for the purpose of restoring and enhancing habitat of a 1500 acre Wetland Restoration Program site in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, USA. QUANTITIES: The work will involve approximately 125,000 cuyds fill, 55,300 cuyds fill/borrow for islands/scrapes, installation of 7 inline water level control structures, 64,000 ft tile search/break, 21 sumps removed, 23 junction boxes removed, and 11 pump pads removed. TIME FRAMES/DATES: Performance time, including mobilization and 9 days for inclement weather is 67 work days assuming 10 hr work days, 5 day work weeks, and 4 pieces of heavy equipment. Tentative Date for: Soliciation = April 24, 2006, Bid opening = June 2, 2006, Completion Date of Work = October 13, 2006. INSPECTION OF PLANS: Plans will be available for inspection without charge at: USDA NRCS, 134 W Rockwell St, Jefferson, WI 53549.
