- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) is proposes a contract for the Dry-docking and repairs for the USCGC SOCKEYE (WPB 87337), 87 foot patrol boat, home moorage in Bodega Bay, CA. This procurement will be performed at the contractor?s facility. The contractor?s dry-dock must be certified according to the MLCP Standard Spec 997. The cutter is geographically restricted to the United States West Coast Columbia River and South areas. The performance period starting 20 September 2006 and ends31 October 2006. The work items include but not limited to: Hull plating, underwater body Inspect, Hull plating, underwater body ultrasonic testing, Appendages (Underwater) leak test, Appendages (Underwater) preserve, voids (non accessible) leak test, voids (non accessible) preserve internal, propulsion shaft seals mechanical replacement, propulsion shaft bearings (external) check clearances, propeller clean/inspect, air conditioning condenser seawater cooling piping renewal and fitting replacement, inspect and test circuit breakers 60hz, fathometer transducers general maintenance, pressure gauges and thermometers (critical) calibration, tachometers (critical) calibration, sea valve (<=2.5 inches) renewal, rudders and rudder stocks removal and inspection, oil content meter calibration, grey water holding tank (s) clean & inspect, sewage holding tank clean & inspect, hull plating, underwater body preserve partial, rudders (exterior) preserve, Cathodic Protection zinc anode renewal, deck coverings (interior polymeric) reseal, temporary services, drydock provide, sea trials, drydocking accomplish, exhaust port hull plating renewal, appendages (underwater body air test, voids (underwater) air test, decks (slip resistant sheet) preserve, hull plating freeboard preserve (partial).
