Description
It is anticipated that a purchase order will be issued for Manufacturing: EXHAUST VALVES ITEM 1: NSN 4810-01-475-8648, VALVE, 8? BUTTERFLY, PORT FLAPPER VALVE MFG IAW CG P-259-0437 AND DRAWING 110WPB-259-006, QTY 12 ASSY; ITEM 2 : NSN 4810-01-475-8415, VALVE, 8? BUTTERFLY, STARBOARD FLAPPER VALVE MFG IAW CG P-259-0437 AND DRAWING 110WPB-259-006, QTY 10 ASSY, A Quality Assurance Inspection is required on this contract, whereas the Contractor will notify the Coast Guard 7 calendar days prior to contract being ready for Quality Assurance inspections or monitored testing required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore, MD 21226. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) SHALL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov ) ON OR ABOUT 4/14/06. IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO MONITOR THE EPS SYSTEMS FOR CHANGES OR AMENDMENTS TO THE QUOTATION. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest & ABILITY to provide the above-described item, via email to Kathy Lobasso at Kathleen.k.lobasso@uscg.mil or call 410-762-6494. Offeror must also fill out and return FAR Clause 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. In accordance with FAR Case 2002-24, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26, and FAR Subpart 4.12 - Annual Representations and Certifications, the use of ORCA became mandatory as of January 1, 2005. ORCA is available through the Business Partner Network (BPN) at <http://www.bpn.gov/ >. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs). Contractors are no longer required to submit hard copies of their Reps & Certs with each proposal. For contractors to be able to upload their Reps & Certs to ORCA, they must have an active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) record and a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). NAICS code for this solicitation is 336311 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
