Description: Provide labor, equipment, & transportation for back-up laundry services in case of equipment failure for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. This contract will only be used on a contingency basis if the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System experiences equipment shutdowns. The contract will run from the date of award through May 31, 2007 with four one year options to extend the term of the contract. The contract is an IDIQ contract and will utilize simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Commercial Items Part 12 and in accordance with Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The issue Date is O/A April 24, 2006 and the BOD is O/A May 17, 2006.
