Description

The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Bragg, North Carolina anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Movement of Government Owned Office Furniture and Equipment for Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina through DPM on or about 25 April 2006. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and perform all work necessary for movement of Government owned office furniture and equipment during the base period 1 July 2006 through 30 September 2006 with four (4) one-year option periods. Services shall include a premove survey, inventorying, weighing, tagging of items, loading, disassemble, unloading, assemble and placing the property in the new location as directed by the Point of Contact (POC) and removal of all empty containers and materials from the location. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 488991, threshold of $21.5 million. The Federal Supply Class/Servic e code is V003. Upon release to the public, the solicitation as well as amendments will only be available via the Internet as website: http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/SOLICIT.HTM Contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation ame ndments. Offers due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
