Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Pomona Lake is soliciting quotes for the replacement of a hydraulic vehicle lift. The requirement is for a lift capable of raising a 10,000 lb. vehicle to a height of at least 80. The lift shall be delivered and installed in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project maintenance building at Pomona Lake Kansas. The government shall remove the existing lift and prepare the site to meet the stated requirements of the successful quoter. This contract shall be awarded to the party whose proposal represents the best value to the government. The elements of the proposal that shall be considered include: 1) Product specifications, 2) Special features of the lift, 3) Experience of installation crew, 4) Price. Please submit your proposal and your quote with the attached contract package to the address in block 17a of the cover sheet. All quotes must be received by 4:00pm on April 21st, 2006. The party that provides the best value offer shall be notified by phone on or about April 24th, 2006.
