Description

The government intends to extend the short term, Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) bridge contracts N62645-05-D-5036, N62645-05-D-5037 and N62645-05-D-5039 established on 28 Sept 05 with the three current Northeast Multiple Agency Task Order contractors. The current contracts are due to expire on 31 May 2006. The extension will be for a period of 60 days. Thus the new termination date of the bridge contracts will be 31 July 2006. The MATO bridge contracts provide the continuity of medical care required for on going medical services until new, competed contracts are awarded. Award of the new Northeast Medical MATO contracts is currently expected on or about 26 May 2006. The 60 day extension of the current bridge contracts will permit the new NE MED MATO contractors the time necessary to recruit, credential and/or privilege health care providers for the various naval facilities covered under the NE MED MATO contracts.
