QUESTION: What furniture manufacturers? item numbers are listed? ANSWER: Manufacturer: DC1, Inc 2. QUESTION: It is not clear if installation of the furniture is required. ANSWER: Installation is NOT required 3. QUESTION: It appears on the last page of the RFQ that all furniture items must be solid oak, not oak plywood and will have natural finish. HPPL tops and drawers that are finger dovetailed. Is this correct? ANSWER: Solid Material is required. 4. QUESTION: Do you have particular Brand names in mind for this solicitation? ANSWER: DCI, Inc OR EQUAL is acceptable. 5. QUESTION: We are asking if a quote may be submitted only for the Mattresses, boxsprings and bedframes. ANSWER: No, This is an ALL or NOTHING Bid. 6. QUESTION: Do you require and should I offer a quote for delivery of the items you are procuring from the Main Naval Base Santa Rita, Guam to their final destination on Guam? ANSWER: From Originator to Destination, Naval Base , Bldg 365, Santa Rita, Guam 7. QUESTION: Do you require and should I offer a quote for unpacking, assembly, installation, site clean-up and waste disposal services for the furniture and fixtures you are procuring? ANSWER: Not Required 8. QUESTION: You state that the sofa should be 40 inches wide which is the same width as the Living Room Lounge chair which you are also procuring. Sofas, however, typically range from 50 to more than 96 inches in width. Could you, therefore, clarify the width you do want? ANSWER: 82 inches in width, 33 inches high and 36 depth. 9. QUESTION: Please confirm that you want the night stand to be made of solid oak. And, can the drawer be made of plywood or must it be made of solid oak pieces as well? ANSWER: Solid oak pieces. 10. QUESTION: In addition to answering the above questions, I request that you tell me if any changes have been made in the Solicitation, the Solicitation Document or in the current Response Date (April 12, 2006)? ANSWER: No - Changes if any will be posted as amendment to the solicitation. 11. QUESTION: WE MANUFACTURE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: 6- DRAWER CHEST, NIGHT STAND , DINING TABLE, END TABLE, COFFE TABLE, BED FRAME AND WOULD LIKE TO QUOTE FOR THE SAME.
