- 1. This notice will serve as notification of a sole source acquisition: To procure one Avid Media Composer Adrenaline HD v2 x System upgrade to replace and repair the current system in place. Listed below are the parts required for this acquisition: HP xw82 3.4 GHz Dual Processor CPU, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP Pro w/SP2, 160GB Hard Drive, nVidia FX 1400 XGL Card, DVD+/-RW Drive (0090-03095-01) 1 Ea 512MB RAM PC (0860-03040-02) 2 Ea PC Cable for Avid Adrenaline (0010-06375-01) 1 Ea rS146/320 Media Drive LVD (0020-03344-01) 8 Ea Dual 19" Flat Screen Monitor (0010-05942-02) 1 Ea Dual 110V M-Audio Speakers (0120-03013-01) 1 Ea PCA Pyro PCI 64 OHCI (0030-03117-02) 1 Ea Avid Studio Toolkit HD including Avid FX, Avid 3D and Avid DVD by Sonic (0010-07183-01) 1 Ea To include maintenance and installation 2. NAICS Code: 334111. 3. There will be no formal solicitation issued prior to award. This procurement is for the acquisition of a commercial item using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items also apply. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition--Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; no addendum applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 26, and 31. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Condition Required to implement Statutes of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the inclusion of DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration. 4.
