Description

1. This notice will serve as notification of a sole source acquisition: To procure one SciFinder Scholar (On-Line Database), 1 year Renewal Subscription to on-line service to include 2 users: 1 Basic Client/user seat and 1 basic client/user seat with SSM for the period of Jan 2007 thru 30 Dec 2007This database will be used to support chemistry classroom research and courses for USAFA Cadets, Faculty and DFC Staff and Librarians. 2. NAICS Code: 514191. 3. There will be no formal solicitation issued prior to award. This procurement is for the acquisition of a commercial item using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items also apply. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition--Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; no addendum applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 26, and 31. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Condition Required to implement Statutes of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the inclusion of DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration. 4.
