Description: This contract requires furnishing fully operated equipment to perform road maintenance and reconstruction on Elk City Wagon Road #284. The project includes removing rocks and stumps, ditch pulling, shaping and finish grading, and other related road work. The equipment required includes an excavator, backhoe, crawler tractor, dump truck, grader and lowboy for mobilization. The project site is reached by traveling on State Highway 14 towards Elk City, ID to mile marker 37. From here, proceed up Forest Road #1858 seven miles to the junction with Road 284 and the beginning of the project. Work is estimated to start in August 2006.
