Description
**** 1. In accordance with FAR 14.209 Cancellation of invitations before opening, the purpose of this amendment is to cancel solicitation AB133F-06-RP-0083. Prospective bidders will be given an opportunity to bid on this requirement when it is reissued with a different solicitation number. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, Honolulu, Hawaii has a requirement for an IDIQ contract for the design and fabrication of sea surface temperature (SST) monitoring stations, refurbishment of the monitoring stations after deployment, calibration and replacement of sensors and components, as well as data processing and delivery of near-real-time datasets. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year of services with four (4) additional one year option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The current NAICS code is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. The estimated date for release of this solicitation is March 9, 2006, with a planned closing date of April 10, 2006.
