Description

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Pittsburgh Research Laboratory intends to negotiate with Assay Technology, Inc. to procure for two (2) HCS-401-250 Flow-Temperature-Humidity Control System (250 LPM), and three (3) EC 100 external control. Instrument to be used in the NPPTL respirator certification branch. The agency is unaware of any comparable product on the market that will meet the needs of the agency. Firms that believe they can provide the required equipment are encouraged to identify themselves and give written product information to the Contracting Officer within 15 days (April 26, 2006) from the date of this synopsis. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. If the agency determines to compete this requirement, a RFQ will be issued solely to the responders of this notice and a subsequent presolicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of a federal contract. Vendors may register at www.ccr.gov.
