Description: The Food and Drug Administration plans to solicit with a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned set-aside for a monitoring and response requirement for the FDA Security Command Center on 17 April, 2006. The security systems and subsystems are required to be operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The selected contractor will provide sufficient supervisory, operating and monitoring staff to fulfill the operation and monitoring requirements during all hours. The contract will require three (8) hour console operators and one (8) hour supervisor for three shifts. It is anticipated the contract will be firm fixed price. The expected period of performance is one base year plus four one-year options.
