Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2006-03-21. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 2399 and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 314999. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (the award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. The 412 TW/ AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential capable of providing for parachute canopies, SABRE 190 (quantity two each) and SPECTRE 190, (quantity two each). The equipment needs to be equal to the items listed to meet the form, fit, and function of existing systems. REQUIREMENTS: Parachute canopies, SABRE 190, (quantity two each) and SPECTRE 190, (quantity two each). Standard specifications are as follows: Model Sabre2 190, Shipping WT 9 lbs, Volume (CU.IN.) 416, WEIGHT (LBS.) WITH MICROLINE 7.2, MAXIMUM EXIT WT. 266, SPAN (FT.) 22.14, CHORD (FT.) 8.19/7.53, ASPECT RATIO 2.58:1; Model Spectre 190, Shipping WT 9 lbs, Volume (CU.IN.) 475, WEIGHT (LBS.) WITH MICROLINE 7.6, MAXIMUM EXIT WT. 266, SPAN (FT.) 20.18, CHORD (FT.) 9.61/8.76, ASPECT RATIO 2.14:1. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete quote including delivery FOB destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Delivery of first set of units, five pieces, is not to exceed 120 days. Delivery of the final five units will be scheduled within 30 days after receipt of the first set of units and not to exceed 150 days. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
