THE ASSEMBLY SERVES AS A MOUNTING PAD FOR A BEARING THAT FITS ON THE RADIAL DRIVE SHAFT. THE DIMENSIONS VARY. THE ADAPTER IS A FLANGE TYPE ADAPTER. The functions are the fan frame adapter mounts on top of the main housing of the gearbox. The assy serves as a mounting pad for a bearing that fits on the radial drive shaft. The dimensions vary. The adapter is a flange type adapter. Approx 7 in. across, 0.28 - 0.30 in thick. The material consists of AMS4418. Total Line Item Qty: 5.0000 Destn: DIS002 - . Delivery: 3O JUNE 2007, the anticipated award date will be: 31 MAY 2006 Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation to Tool Sales and Services, Ambel Precision, Triumph Gear Systems. First Article Gov test may be required. Anticipated date solicitation posting is 14 APRIL 2006 with a closing date of 15 MAY 2006. This acquisition involves technology that has a military or space application. Only U.S. Contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC), Federal Center, Battle Creek MI 49017-3084 (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose may participate in this solicitation. Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. According to the FAR 4.1102 (Oct 03), "Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) prior to award of a contract or agreement."
