Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: W91LDJ6062D155. The Regional Contracting Office, Fort Wainwright, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Hunter Manufacturing Company, Solon, OH 44139. Items to be purchased: Line Item 0001: 21 ea ch, A-20 Heater and 21 each, A-20 Heater kits for FMTV truck use for crew compartments of armored vehicles to include heating the enclosed cargo area of the 5-ton FMTV and a portable version with an extension cord and NATO slave connector for the 28VDC pow er supply. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 17 Apr 2006. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining w hether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 17 Apr 2006 at 8:00 AM Alaska Standard Time.
