Description

This is a modification to a previous announcement of Solicitation Number Q7510060007. The response date is extended to May 8, 2006. The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 4/17/2006. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued; telephone and fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The Department of the Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS) is soliciting quotes from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. The work of this contract consists of replacement of wood shingle roof coverings on the following four historic buildings. Award will be made considering BEST VALUE to the Government. Criteria for award: bid price, past performance, and technical ability. We are seeking contractors who have experience working on historic buildings or have an interest in restoration-type work. The anticipated award date is May 22, 2006. Contract duration is 60 days from the notice to proceed. All work must be completed by September 1, 2006. Chickasaw National Recreation Area is approximately 85 miles south of Oklahoma City. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $13 million. All quotes submitted in a timely manner from qualified vendors will be considered. Responses will be due May 8, 2006, unless extended. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors must register with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at the internet website www.ccr.gov prior to submitting quotes.
