Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center ? Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2., Webster Field, St. Inigoes, MD intends to issue a Sole Source contract with Pole-Zero Corp, 5530 Union Center Drive, West Chester, OH 45069, ph: 513-870-9060 x 130. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. Additionally, this requirement will be awarded as a commercial item under the authority of FAR part 12.6. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 and the small business standard is $12.5 million. The specific tunable filter, low noise amplifier (LNA), power supply, and control elements for each subsystem were chosen as part of a detailed development effort including an analysis of platform antenna isolation, co-site interferer levels, and output requirements. It is anticipated that this order will be awarded within the month of April 2006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technically capability statement in response to this notice. NAWC-AD shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Note: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
