Description

This modification provides additional information as a result of questions asked regarding the NYAIC Modernization effort. The following questions and answers are provided for the NYAIC Modernization Effort. 1) Are the interiors of all animal buildings considered wet locations (washdown) with relationship in the use of Rigid Conduit instead of EMT for raceways? Response: Interiors of the building are considered wet locations because of wash down and Rigid galvanized conduit with water tight conduit fittings shall be used. Refer to raceway routing note that appears under NOTES in each drawing. 2) The Drawing notes, for most buildings, refer to Detail F on Drawing E003, which requires a galvanized steel support beam for mounting light fixtures. Buildings 1, 3 and 9 are not referenced to this detail; do you have a detail for mounting fixtures in these buildings? Response: Building 1 and 9 shall refer to detail F on drawing E003 for mounting light fixtures. Building 3 shall refer to note 11 on drawing E102A for mounting light fixtures. 3) Please specify the required size of the Generator Load Bank. Response: Provide 150KW Generator Load Bank 4) Please provide dimensions for NEMA 4 Enclosure that will house DP-1, DP-2 & ATS Response: Provide minimum size enclosure of 90 inches (HIGH) by 120 inches (LONG) by 40 inches (DEEP) The following questions were asked and answers will be provided on this site as soon as they are available. 1. Drawing C0001 Access Road Section: What are the limits of the location where these Rip Rap Swales re being created? 2. Specification: We cannot find a specification for the new Monorail system. Can you provide a specification?
