Description

The Request For Quotations (RFQ) will be issued in accordance with the Simplified Acqusition Procedures FAR Part 13. The estimated boundry traverse is 500,000 LF and cruising 700 plots. The RFQ will be a multi-year contract from date of award through September, 2009. The RFQ will be issued as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. Best value selection factors will be used. This work consists of traversing, posting and painting proposed cutting unit boundaries, and performing cruises to determine tree volumes and tree quality on the Mt Hood National Forest. The end results required under this contract are to traverse, post boundaries and cruise to the standards included herein and to the standards stated in the Sale Preparation Handbook (FSH 2409.18) and the Timber Cruising Handbook (FSH 2409.12) and in the Government?s Quality Assurance Plan. The NAICS code is 115310. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This is an electronic RFQ only. All documents will be posted to this website exclusively. The RFQ will be available approximately 1 May 2006
