- The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of work include but are not limited to sitework, furnishing and installing reinforced concrete foundations for new substation structures and equipment; furnishing and installing cable trench, substation grounding, and substation fencing. The work is located in Burleigh County, North Dakota. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. All work is to be completed by September 18, 2006. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about May 1, 2006 and the projected bid opening date is on or about June 1, 2006. Interested bidders must email, fax, or mail the Contract Specialist to request the specifications and applicable drawings. DO NOT post any questions or responses to the IFB on IIPS. Any questions or responses posted on the IIPS that concern this IFB will not be considered during the evaluation and award process. Any non-U.S. citizen (Foreign National) visiting or working at any Western Area Power facility must receive prior written approval from the appropriate Western Security Manager.
