- The Government intends to procure commercial item services under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for reagents and consumables for the Bactec 9120 & 9240 on a brand name or equal basis. Deliveries are for the VA West Los Angeles, VA Long Beach, VA San Diego, and VA Loma Linda Healthcare Systems. The contract shall be for a base year, with the Government?s option to exercise four (4) one (1) year option periods. The solicitation will be available for issue on or about April 14, 2006, with offers due on or about April 21, 2006.
