- Description
- The 542SEVSG/GBZO-PK at Robins AFB, Georgia has a requirement for the depot overhaul of vehicle components/transmissions. The requirement is 100% set aside for small business participation and will be written for a period of 5 years (Basic + 4 option years). The requirement will be procured using FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and will employ the AFFARS Performance Price Trade-Off procedures for a best value award decision. A Performance Work Specification (PWS) will be used. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price requirements-type contract as described in FAR 16.503. The approximate date for release of the Request for Quote is 2 May 2006.
