- Locomotive Repair/Replacement services at Eielson AFB, AK is being offered as an unrestricted for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 488210, with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and tools and any other items necessary to electrical testing (troubleshooting) and disassembling of government-owned GP40 locomotive number 4902 manufactured by General Motors. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 15 April 2006 with closing date 15 calendar days after issuance, subject to change. This Request for Proposal will be evaluated on price. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov). Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
