- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is G06PB201KN, the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect t hrough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. The associated NAICS code is 334515 and small business size standard is 500 employees. Description of requirement, contract line item number(s), quantities and units of measure are: CLIN 0001 Castle 2 Test Sta nd, 1 each; CLIN 0002 On-site Training for Station Operation. Required delivery date 6 months after award of contract, FOB Destination Redstone Arsenal, AL. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the government intends to solicit and n egotiate with only one source, Radical Systems, Inc. The required test stand must be compatible with an existing Radical Systems, Inc. Castle Test Stand. Use of any other equipment would require nonrecurring engineering, software development and interfac e architecture development. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
