Description
The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement to lease time on a high performance system that can provide quick execution of jobs with no wait time, as well as fast computation capabilities to increase the number of model simulation s that can be performed during a work period. Solicitation W912P8-06-T-0055 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 7374 and the business size is $23,000,000.00. The NAICS code is 518210. This solic itation is issued as unrestricted. Any communications must identify the RFP number W912P8-06-T-0055, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. The Contract Specialist for this requirement is Angela De ren (Angela.Deren@mvn02.usace.army.mil) and the Contracting Officer is Henry L. Camburn (Henry.L.Camburn@mvn02.usace.army.mil). Any communications must be sent to both the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer. No phone call requests will be accept ed. The RFQ will be issued on or about 17 March 2006. Quotes are due on or about 14 April 2006 at 1400 hours CDT. This is a re-competition of previous solicitation number W912P8-06-T-0043. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity.
