Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District is conducting a market survey on the availability of potential contractors to provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and repair services at The Dalles Dam, The Dalles, Or egon. The contractor must specialize in heat pumps and chiller maintenance up to 300 ton units. The contractor shall be factory qualified to service York Millennium class heat pumps. The contactor shall be available for emergency callouts for the repair of critical equipment within four hours and the contractor shall be located no further than 150 miles from The Dalles Dam. The contractor shall have all the necessary permits and certificates to transport, handle and dispose of refrigerants and shall submit documentation prior to bid submittals to prove these factors can be met. The period of performance of this expected contract shall be for one year, with options renewable for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. The North American Industry Classificati on System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $13 million dollars. Interested businesses are invited to respond indicating their interest in providing this service and to provide a brief capability statement addressing organizati onal and staff experience and proficiency in being able to provide this service. Responses to this market survey should include the following: business size and status such as Small Business, Disadvantaged, 8(a), or HUBZone. Please indicate your size stand ard so a determination can be made regarding whether or not the requirement can be set aside. The Government reserves the right to set-aside this procurement for small business participation based on the response to this market survey.
