- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation No. W912BU-06-T-0041 for Genuine Alco Diesel Engine Parts (power assembly kit, connecting newrod, and piston ring kit) for Alco 251C Series Engi nes used on board the Dredge McFarland. All parts are to be new and shall be packaged and marked as specified in the solicitation. Any offer of remanufactured or rebuilt parts is unacceptable and will be denied. This action will be procured in accordanc e with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. RFQ No. W912BU-06-T-0041 will be available on or about 14 April 2006. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) system w ebpage at https://www.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a Vendor with FedTeDs before accessing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeDs, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (http:/ /www.ccr.gov). Interested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink established in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation-spec ific data in FedTeDs. Registration for updates to plans and specifications should be made on the FedBizOpps webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeDs system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be perf ormed through the FedBizOpps system. Offers will be due on 20 April 2006 at 5:45 p.m. ET and can be faxed to 215-656-6798, ATTN: Linda M. Dobbs. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 333618 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register ( CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
