- This is a notice of the Governments intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to AMO USA, Inc., the sole manufacturer and distributor of the VISX Model 3772 Excimer Eye Laser System, for 40 Pkgs (10/pkg) programmed CustomVue High Myopi a Treatment Cards PN 0030-4835 used at the Refractive Eye Clinic, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bagg, North Carolina. The anticipated date of award is 12 April 2006. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance w ith Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and 6.302-1 for Other Than Full and Open Competition. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
