Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct six (6) pits and five(5) reservoirs in Garfield and McCone County. There will be 4 line items on the schedule, (1) Mobilization, 1 EA; (2) Commom Excavation, 26,713 cy; (3) Embankment (Semicompacted), 14,494 cy; (4) Pipe Assemblies, 3 LS. Work under this contract is located in Garfield and McCone County, Montana. The contractor receiving award will have 80 calander days (including inclement weather days) after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100% Payment Protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of May 10, 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. It is also recommended that prospective vendors complete their electronic annual representations and certifications in ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about April 26, 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available on line at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Response date for quotes will be on or about May 25, 2006. Exact date will be stated in the RFQ. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
