Description
This is a Sources Sought notice only; not a request for proposal. The Department of the Interior is conducting market research (Phase I) to determine if Federal Supply Schedule contractors have the capability to become the Department's prime contractor for all relocations services nationwide (including Alaska, Hawaii and US territories). The NAICS codes for this procurement are: 484210 Used Household and Office Goods Moving, 531210 Offices of Real Estate Agents and Brokers, 531390 Other Activities related to Real Estate. The Government is seeking qualified Federal Supply Schedule vendors to participate in oral presentations the week of 24 - 26 April 2006. The presentations should contain capabilities statements and proposed methods of conducting relocation services, and shall not exceed 30 minutes. Also, provide information on your logistics plan, staffing plan, and business approach that will give the Government a high level of confidence that the services rendered will meet the Government's quality expectations. The services sought include, Home Sales Services and Move Management Services. The SIN for Home Sales Services is 653-1: Relocation Service Package - Home sale services ensure the employee's home will be sold, including assistance in marketing the home, negotiating with potential outside buyers, helping the employee become familiar with their new duty location, providing renter/buyer assistance, spousal and mortgage counseling and reports. The SIN for Move Management Services is 653-7: Move Management Services - The contractor can provide a total package of move management services including transferee entitlement and pre-move counseling; carrier selection; preparation of bills of lading; shipment booking; service performance and prepayment audits; claims preparation assistance; and on-site quality control. The Government may award a single order or multiple orders as a result of this market research. The total amount of an/all award(s) will not exceed $100 million. The Government anticipates that qualified Federal Schedule vendors who participate in phase II (Request for Proposals) will provide a significant discount from their established schedule prices. In order to participate in these oral presentations qualified Federal Schedule Vendors need to contact Ana Ruiz to schedule a presentation date and time. Phone 703-358-2244 or Email ana_ruiz@fws.gov. Responses must be received by this office no later than 20 April 2006 at 3:00PM Eastern Time. Point of Contact: James McCaffery, Branch Chief, Phone: 703-358-2176 or Email james_mccaffery@fws.gov .
