- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with EDO Corporation Antenna Products & Technologies, 585 Johnson Avenue, Bohemia, NY 11716 for the Marker Beacon Antenna for the F/A-18 Blue Angel Aircraft. This order shall procure 12 units as a one-time buy with no follow on procurements. This order shall be placed under a new NAVAIR purchase order under simplified acquisition procedures. The EDO Company is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the Marker Beacon Antenna and it's components. As such, The EDO Company is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform the described effort in the requisite time frame. See Note 22.
