Description
The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home intends to issue a solicitation for Physical Therapy, Occupational and Speech Pathology Services. The NAICS code is 621340 and the size standard is $6 million. This solicitation will result in a performance based, firm-fixed price contract with a base year and four, one-year options. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for eligible small business concerns. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide physical, occupational and speech language pathologist services for the residents at the Armed Forces Retirement Home ? Washington, DC (AFRH-W). The duties shall include a full range of physical, occupational and speech language pathologist services in a geriatric environment located at the King Health Center (KHC). The AFRH-W serves the inpatient and outpatient needs of approximately 1600 residents. Third Party Billing will be required from the Contractor. The Contractor shall bill resident?s insurance company directly for reimbursement of therapy services. The Government is not responsible for payment, including co-payments, and the Contractor shall not bill the Government for these services. The Government will pay the Contractor for services at the TRICARE rate of reimbursement for residents without insurance. Interested small business concerns should notify this office in writing, via e-mail of their intention to offer on this project as early as possible, but no later than 10 days after the publication of this notice.
