- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Smiths Aerospace Actuation Systems of Yakima, WA to produce the following: 25 each Repeatable Release Holdback Bars (RRHB) P/N 2-7584-2; two (2) each RRHB Adapters P/N 2-7585-3; two (2) each Holding Fixtures P/N ED1654-1; two (2) each Rod End Connector Tools P/N ED1470-1; eight (8) each Collet Head P/N 7-1212-2. Also, an Option to produce 10 RRHB?s in FY07, 10 RRHBs in FY08, 5 RRHBs in FY09, and 25 Collet Heads in FY07. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
