- The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction-type hopper dredge on a rental basis. Work will be performed at the Mississippi River SWP Area, and possibly in other areas of the New Orleans District and in areas of both the Galveston and Mobile Districts. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will issue on or about 15 November 2004, and the Bid Opening Date will be established in an amendment. Pla ns and Specifications are available to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/EBS_Contracting/index.asp. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLO ADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED.
