Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. As a result of the initial sources sought synopsis for this requirement which posted on March 22 and closed on 24 March 2006 and did not produce any qualified potential sources, the government intends to award a commercial purchase order in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, for the following items; CLIN 0001; (2) two each Spectrum Analyzers with the following options: Rugged Case, External Generator Control, Pulse Calibrator, LAN Interface, Trigger Port, OCXO 10 MHz, TV Trigger & Adjust RF Power Trigger, Demodulator Hardware & Memory Extension; 2 each Application Firmware; 2 each Measurements w/ power sensors. Spectrum Analyzer must be 9 kHz-40GHZ-140 -+30dBm, RBW 10Hz 10MHz TFT color display. Other specific salient characteristics were previously posted in the sources sought synopsis and are available via e-mail address below. Product shall meet the Government's exact specifications (exact form, fit, and function). Firms responding to this synopsis must identify their company?s capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the synopsis number and indicate whether or not that they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334515. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F1S0AZ6058B003. The solicitation is a request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-08 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice (DCN) 20060321: CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-7 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (OCT 2003) AND DFARS 252.204-7004, ALTERNATE A (NOV 2003).
