- This modification posts the revised purchase description to this website. Michael Hickey is now the primary point of contact and he can be reached at michael.hickey@afmetcal.af.mil or (740)788-5052. The response date has also been extended to 27 April 2006. All other information remains the same. AFMETCAL Det 1 intends to award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract with a five year ordering period. The requirement is for the purchase of a High Capacity Top Load Balance. The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 1M06-MLEM-PM-01, Revision 1 dated 23 March 2006, which will be posted at this site. The guaranteed quantity is 1 each, however, we anticipate issuing orders for a total quantity of 92 over the five year ordering period. Contingent upon the availability of funds, some of the anticipated quantity may be ordered or may not be ordered at all. Data including technical manuals shall be provided in accordance with the DD Form 1423, which will be posted at this site. A standard one-year warranty is required with each unit. Warranty information shall be provided with your proposal. The first delivery order issued will be for the first production unit and this unit will undergo extensive production testing at AFMETCAL Det 1 in Heath OH. Other delivery orders will not be issued until the first production unit has passed testing. All other units will be shipped within the Continental United States and acceptance testing will be performed at each site upon receipt of the unit to ensure the unit meets the purchase description. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 30 January 2006 with a due date of 15 February 2006. The solicitation package including purchase description and data requirements will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fedbizopps site. FAX and email responses are acceptable.
