Description

HQ Air Mobility Command (AMC)/A34KS anticipate issuing an RFP on or about 1 May 06 for Centralized Baggage Service Center (BSC) at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform BSC functions. The contractor shall trace mishandled (lost, found, damaged, or pilfered) baggage AMC-wide, determine final action of case files, and compile statistical data. Performance period will be 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07 with four (4) one-year options. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be conducted at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina on 16 May 06 at 1:00 p.m. local time for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Upon issue of RFP, names of all attendees (not to exceed two per offeror) must be submitted to HQ AMC/A3KS prior to 8 May 06, 10:00 a.m. local time. Please provide attendees Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, and also Include attendees driver?s license number. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. For purpose of this solicitation, the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Numbered Note 29 applies to this acquisition.
