Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation constitutes the only solicitation; quote s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a 100% small business set-aside. The Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, Directo rate of Contracting, Bldg. 143 2nd Floor, Crozier Street, White Sands Missile Range, NM, 88002 intends to solicit for the purchase of 200 Blackout Infrared Filter Kits. The Blackout Infrared Filter Kits will be used for tactical vehicle operations. Each k it is to include 2 quick detach infrared headlight filter, 2 infrared tail light filter (fits all standard bulb assemblies), 2 parking lamp covers, 4 running light covers, mounting hardware, blackout carrying bag, and a manual for using listed items. Th e filters will provide IR illumination when seen through night vision (IR illumination 850NM). Award will be made to the technically acceptable, low price offeror. Award will be made to a single offeror. Required delivery is 30 days after award, FOB Dest ination, Fort Belvoir, VA, 22060 (9925 Tracy Loop, Bldg 767). All vendors must be currently CCR registered and be able to accept third party, VISA credit card payment. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334511 and 750 employees. The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items ; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (in paragraph (b) the following clauses apply: FAR 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-36. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotes via email to cara.saunders@belvoir.army.mil. Quotes must be received by 12:00 p.m. EST, on 17 April 06.
