Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA, intends to competitvely acquire two types of High Value Asset Security Cages (HVASC), both in tan and green. The two types of th e HVASC are Supply and Portable. The Government anticipates a single award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements contract consisting of a two-year (2) Base Ordering Period and three (3) one-year Ordering Periods for a total of five (5) years duration. Estimated quantities over the life of the contract is approximately 3,000 HVASCs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement will be a 100 percent Small Busin ess Set-Aside. The Request for Proposal (RFP), Technical Data Package, Packaging and Marking requirements and other pertinent documents will be available on the Natick Contracting Division website ON OR ABOUT May 1, 2006 at https://www3.natick.army.mil und er Business Opportunities/Ongoing Acquisitions/W58P05-06-R-0018/Files Available for Download. Firms will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with proposal preparation. The closing time and date for the RFP responses will be 30 days after release o f the solicitation.
